I see a definite influence of Pollock and Klee in your work.

I enjoyed both posts of your new works, Kurt. All the use of white done with that great impasto style has a sense of humor to it that left me feeling marsh-mellowed and relaxed. What's the weather like in T-town? Any influence there..?

Thx for sharing, artguy...

kurt...love the art, the paper, the texture. One of these nights, I would love for you to drop by, have a toddy and you and Cec have dueling brushes....I can dream, can't I? Hah!

i figured that the snow must be coming down... the influence is there. I really like the effect. I have enough titanium white to try that out. I also like your symbolisms... very cool.

Yeah there's some Mondrian in there too.

But they are right, built up surfaces, with depth illusion and piled on stuff, paint that seems like tissue soft, use of grays and soft earthy and soft pastels...I'd say the top one, "white urbane" is more aggressive with paint drips and pencil included .....
great,!!!

THANKS!!!!
