I'm trying to reconcile the image with the title - first glance I saw a Native American couple in furs or buckskins - til I noticed the umbrella/parasol - then there's the color palette, the reds & oranges suggesting heat - global warming?
whatever the intent - nicely composed, two figures walking into the frame - draws your eye to where they're going... maybe that's The Future...?

my thinking was the future is unknown, and grand mystery, and may be extraordinary if we believe there is something more than just today just up ahead
