a munchistic pablo sharon... someone i know? now i do.

crude and coarse -- yes! rough drafts, fast ones, small ones... done one after another during nocturnal conversations or on dreamy-weathered rainy afternoons with a friend; done irrelevantly at the side while the night unfolded in talk and thought, in foolish frenzy, poetic ponderings, absinthine smoothness or sober musings. sketches, creative exercises, brush stroke gymnastics. guest appearing out of nowhere. party of paint and personality!

and now: rasputin wolf gogh drinking forest fagsinthe... cheers!

this time, playing with a technique of scraping off the paint with a spatula right after painting.

yes there's something present here
an apparition emerging
from the ground
of being rasputin wolf gogh drinking forest fagsinthe
nulla dia sines linea
nunca un dia sin linea
never a day without a line
acrylic waterflow
sculptural scraping
a mask for the autumn equinox
old forest memories
from the underground stream.
