Suncat

Post by Terri » March 16th, 2008, 6:54 pm

(I had to use the html from flickr, because I'm still too slow to figure out what Doreen told me--)

Fixed it! Thank you, Doreen!

This is a woodcut I did on a slow summer Monday night, tending bar in B'more. Woodchips were everywhere, but I was entertained. I'm finding these one at a time as I go through old portfolios.

It's really nice! I like it a lot!

(and using the html is fine... it's just the lightbox thingy doesn't work but hey, that's no biggie really, yanno? :) ... the only thing the lightbox is really great for is if the image is much larger... 'cause when you post it here, the software resizes the image smaller to fit in the forums and when you click on it with lightbox, it opens in a new window to show the original size. But this image isn't any larger anyway. LOL... man i sure can ramble... sighh.. sorry...)

thanks for sharing this piece! It's purrrfectly lovely!

I just like that you ramble as much as I do--heh (can I steal that? I hate "LOL")

The lightbox works now.

Thanks, (are you east [van] or west [coast]?)--thanks! Have only sold a few, mostly portraits, no come to think of it, ALL portraits, but I'd like to change that... I need to start figuring out how to do that. Prints are great for possessive me, because I could sell them and still have them.

On another unrelated personal note
My nephew was after my brother to buy him a Les Paul guitar for his birthday. Things were tight for my brother that year so he gave the kid a Siamese kitten named Les Paws.

Amazing animal, he would stand his ground against a German sheppard.
