Thank you! You've got to catch them before they move, right? I like to see, in a drawing, evidence of the moving hand; something about working fast makes it more responsive. I stumbled on this woman's how-to-draw site; she turns out hyper-detailed drawings (cute animals and "beautiful" women). The only ones I could stand were the ones she called her "hideous rough sketches".

Terri, i think you have it and that is exactly the way i draw and write and create my jewelry...spontaneously, in the flow...it is the only way to go for me for if i try to reason it out then it is truly hideous.
Some of my favorite drawings are by Paul Reps, the great haijin who drew on scraps of paper and hung them on lines like laundry. Slashes of brilliance with strokes of the sumi-i brush. I very much like your cats as they live on the paper. thank you for sharing them.
