Upper West
Mixed Media On Paper
15" x 20"

I did this as an Xmas gift for my daughter. She loves all things New York, and always wanted a piece of mine that is more of a drawing than one of my "weird" paintings.

I'm sure this will hang well on your daughter's wall, kurt

I love the rustic, sepia look of it. It's very warm and welcoming.

I wrote a dedication on the back for my daughter...

That is a seriously funny dedication, Kurt! I may have to borrow that one in the future.

new york new york

my dad doesn't paint, but he loves to make things with wood. he made me a wooden "riempie" bench more than a decade ago. it is still one of my favorite pieces of furniture in my house. she will love your painting.

[ps. riempie benches & chairs are classic and very common in south africa. riempies are strips of leather used to weave bench or chair seats. you get these furniture in a wide variety of woods and styles.]
