Maybe it's because you've seen so many of my cartoons...

That's been my motto for many years. "Life is a series of projects."

As usual, I juggle them like a circus performer. I spin them on plates on top of sticks. Too many projects, too little time. It's been this way my whole life. Hopefully I can fill a book this time without dropping the plate and going on to something else.

Thanks for looking, Lightning Rod.

Love this sort of stuff Doreen, very free and gestural, just the eye and the paper, wonderful.

maybe it's because you are sitting in a place that I can't help but recognize. That was close to how my eyes saw it.

You should really persist with this project, doreen.

Your childlike style is very charming, especially when you add the wit of your notes.

Well, your drawings do have an accurate three dimensional quality
with structural perspective
never mind that the lines are wavy

they are accurate in construct and focussed
them lines
and am jealous about how you use colour

playful non-serious yes
but the studied construct is intentful
and accurate

you ain't no primitive draughtswoman, man
i'm on a survival mission
yo ho ho an a bottle of rum om
