The mind continues to try and make patterns, and without success, a chaos of color immerges.
Nice.

Very bold kurt and something about it drives me to abstraction.
Please tell me what kinda board you are using, as I painted a very detailed piece on some masonite (shiny side up) and then the paint started to chip off, which made me nuts...(nutser.) I know now that the shiny side of masonite is not the way to go and the backside of said board was too rough for the details. So, what would you suggest my friend? Course, it is too late for my only masterpiece.

But I should like to try something again if time permits and I don't want a flaky painting, (not that I can help it.)

I use to paint on masonite too. I actually preferred the smooth side, but to prepare it I would go over the surface with a course grain sand paper. The painting here is on 1/4" mahogany plywood. When I do my large routered pieces they are on 3/4" spruce plywood.

I love abstract. The colours, the patterns, the thoughts it brings to mind.
