To a world around the bend
Only mind, thought and wind
Sweet grass broken
Where old men and poets die
Passing under and over
Spiraling concrete wings
The crow defies the round and round
Fly in early morning rising
Yellow blue and mist ahead
Not a tree in site no place to nest
Empires at the other end
Bald earth cries concrete tears
Four wheeled terror
Speed speed speed
Rest

The haiku feel of the last lines have stayed with me all night since reading:

Bald earth cries concrete tears
Four wheeled terror
Speed speed speed
Rest

Good combination of words and image.
