very vivid!, I almost can listen to the sounds... 
is it acuarela? not too much idea about materiales but it looks like that, love acuarela paintings since I was a kid!

yes i like the flatness of it
the absence of physical texture
i can feel the weather
the climate the place
a very inviting scene
with an empathy for mood
yet beautiful
inspiring to go to sleep to
