this one drawn whilst waiting in my taxi one morning.....i met a man who i flew with in vietnam.....he was my loadmaster, retired and then became the manager of a macdonalds downtown shreveport.....i remember him riding the back ramp like a surfboard one time when we were taxiing the plane.....he also "served" on c-123's doing chemical defoliation.....and i had refused duty and was a cab driver and made this lonely quiet drawing in 1983.

i wandered around the railroad yards down the hill from my apartment in shreveport and made this drawing. lonesome times, 1985.

My favourite from these three is the middle one. The desolate street scene.

For some reason I can imagine walking along that street, hands in jacket pockets, early morning walking home from a night getting drunk in a smokey bar with a great jukebox. But still, walking home sad, alone despite the pretty good night.
well I write music review so I do:

well your Edinburgh is a good walking zone.
please more scapes. also did you check out isveryboyin's chicago photos where she tunes into a specific revealed composition?

sometimes the unsensational can reveal.

i was sad at the time. while i may be sad again from time to time, mu state now is one of mu i guess.

thanks for your note. happy walkin. got a buzz goin from some wine and a good day's work.

wanna get out and find some more urban scenes. surburbia, or upscale downtown, confetti city.
