what's remarkable about these pieces in the history so obvious in the faces, the depth of experience that comes out pulls you in, and causes you to wonder about different models of living....

Roaming about across freshly plowed fields, along the river banks, creeks and streams one can occasionally find pieces of their history. Mostly broken by time, pottery shards, beads, smoking pipes of clay or stone, projectile points and other lithic artifacts. I can only imagine what these eastern Siouans looked like during the Pre-Columbian times.

Where did you study drawing? Your drawings are excellent!
What media is this? Is it colored pencil? Watercolor? Trying to figure it out.
What size is it?

Aside from highschool art class, self taught.

Experimenting with color pencils and inks.

11" x 14", a small drawing.
