O! what a fantastic series
i love the 3-transition (gotta admit, i feel a lot for 'confusion' and white urbana and white light are so utterly optimistic, i love the whole process of getting there)

I like your figures and how you developed them.

I have a large number of figure drawings and have thought about developing some of the gesture drawings as you have, using gestural lines as reflections and abstraction for color, design, effect.

Will get back at ya before too long with some more.
THANKS!! very inspiring, yes and the mystical realisation process, like the way you envisioned it.
Have another hit!

Terrific Work

Post by lescaret » February 28th, 2005, 4:13 pm

Allez! Gracias, AG, terrific works.

"Confusion" is brilliant, many refracted color shards & the twist of a body in motion, overtones of sacred graffiti carved in temple stone, poise and chaos like most lives.

I'm curious, how big are they? What materials? They look very tactile. I want to see them in delicious light on a white wall, all of them hanging their glorious faces full frontal for hungry art eyes to drink in & eat up.
