oh man, best of luck to you - hope they get it all, and that boredom is the worst part of your convalescence. Keep us in the loop as much as you can. You were one of the 1st (if not THE 1st) to welcome me here at the studio - I haven't forgotten that.
All the best, Steve. Damn the torpedoes......

Thanks, man - hopin' the best for you in a couple weeks.
I don't know if I'll be sprouting wings to ascend those hills, but I'll happily settle for not painfully hobbling... Practice on the rail-trails 1st. I've lost a lot of muscle strength, & gained weight to make up for it.
Fixed breakfast for us this morn - had to adjust the cooking time by ear for double the amount, but it was a hit - whites of the poached eggs perfectly set, the yolks perfectly runny - better than I usually make for myself. She's up in her room now working remotely - minor hiccup getting her plugged into the wifi, but easily solved. Will call the hospital in a bit to verify my arrival time - which I've been told is 6am. That's in the morning. In the dark. Means leaving the house wheels up no later than 5:15 - which means getting up no later than 4:30, or even earlier, to squeeze in my antiseptic shower. Then... Game On! Saw this bad boy off & cyborg me! I'll be baaaack......
