the pure courage of laying down so much colour, such a confident image. Plus, I get to imagine the song!

ditto for me: re Roy.
Great about woods-time.
This week, the rockets have left us alone! All's good.

Recovery is steady, but slower than last time. I'd lost a lot of muscle tone when my 2nd hip went south, and that loss makes walking uncomfortable. My concerns about the surgery happening so close to winter were borne out as well, as we've had a lot of ice build up. Even the Yak-Trax don't give me the confidence to walk on hard, bare ice, so I have to drive someplace the roads are ice-free. There are also some family issues that need attention, diluting my focus on rehab. I'm just glad we only have two hips.

no rockets are a good thing...so glad to hear that

I think the age factor plays into the healing process for sure....the lung surgery kicked my ass ( 3 years later ) than quintuple bypass surgery.....or maybe it's the cumulative effect roy....of piling up ailments....in any case, it's wise to avoid the ice and I hope the other distractions clear up so you can laser focus on healing.....

stay well both of you
