When someone asked Lalo Schifrin why he wrote the "Mission: Impossible" theme in 5/4 time, he said it was meant as a dance for aliens with 5 legs... though someone else pointed out that its 2-3 long-short subdivision is Morse code for "M.I." Who knows? Either way, it works... like this painting...
