When I crash at my brother's place, I sometimes pass up the large sofa in the family room in favor of my sleeping bag & an air mattress on the back deck. I awoke one such morning to what sounded like a large, stinging insect hovering nearby - but when I poked my head out for a look it was a hummiingbird hovering less than a foot away!
