Placed a cottonwood sprig on my flatbed scanner, scanned it, then digitally manipulated to this image. Lastly added text.

I love cottonwood trees. Have not seen one in ages. Love the whitish bark and the broad yellowgreen leaves. Love the white spring blossoms.

Me too! The slightest breeze sets the leaves to dancing, much like a quaking leaf aspen. I have a HUGE cottonwood right across the road from my house. So very impressive.
