it's called "political marketing,"
and suffused a poignant tone for the passers-by,
i personally
es·chewed about
taking a flagg as they were passed out all round by an intense woman
(recently retired, i surmised)
a new vet for peace,
wearing fatigues and a Lt Colonel's rank,
she was very sincere and most of the other vets took one,
it made a better impression than if we were waiving the NVA flag like was done in the Vietnam Wr protest days, or upside down, again an era gone by, signs of distress all around, don't ya know we will see upside down flags again sometime, tho not this September, my next photo-op, when there will be a five-year anniversary of September 11th, at MacDilldo Air Farce Base, a tanker squadron and home of the Central Command, I will have my BUSHWHACKED sign, as I did at this vigil,
no offense to the maple leaf flag, but I personally have always preferred the Mexican flag,
the eagle and snake,
