Mom's birthday was Nov 6th. She was 92 years old. OMG time goes by so quickly. I had the cousins over for a birthday party. My cousin, Linda, is sitting on the right of me.. She was singing with me when I played. Alicia, my daughter is in the back.
just thought I'd share. It was a beautiful day.
When I get to be my mom's age, my daughter will be mine. Continuity. Generations. Isn't it great? Seems like just a few years ago, I was 15. Alicia will be 15 on the 26th of Nov. Amazing how fast it all goes.
I'm playing a song for you guys. It's off-key but hey, I haven't practiced for a while. I've gained some weight but i love to eat because it's my recent solace. Ten pounds from now, I'll post another one. Hopefully I'll find myself in the songs and in the bones of it all. Somewhere... I'm here.
