no trespassing says jack

Imagenew sign in front
guess i won't be getting that photo
the white '65 chevy in the garage
you can see it thru the back yard window
dark inside and the window screen
interrupts the flash light
now i wanted to try a digital camera
use the setting that takes in low light conditions
and maybe could capture the old chevy
but
with the red flag out front
it's not a go right now
crisp mild florita winter day

So is there someone living there now or is it a museum or is it there for junkies and criminals of the street to bust in and get high?????

I think I read somewhere that his brother in law John Sampas lives in kerouac's house or at least he did until 2003. Not sure
The house is still owned by John Sampas (as of 3/2003), brother-in-law and executor of Jack's estate. See the tax information from Pinellas County.

I have never seen anyone living there. The house is fallow, yet maintained by a groundskeeper. It's not a haven for any crazed people, only shy, reticent ghosts. I do remember seeing the telephone number listed in the phone book. It always had a busy signal.
No longer.

I will have to search for it but somebody interviewed sampas when he was living at the house. Sampas lived there for a while anyway
