Hi, Panta...

This looks like a young woman writing a suicide note after doing an all-nighter at Starbucks Morocco. (Nice pen)

well, actually, cecil, this is my daughter writing a postcard to her friend in a berlin street café after a long day of walking around...

but i like the latitude of your association!

(and nice to "see" you here, btw!)

"...i like the latitude of your association!"

I hope that means you like the way I read the picture...

This is a very strong photo that has a 'doom & gloom' about it that captured me... much like a 1930's black & white film noir.

May I should change that to "Starbucks Berlin"..?

yep... latitude as in freedom. i liked the freeflowing expanse of your imagination!

though starbucking a genuine turkish mocca would be a real insult to its identity... ;-)

thanks for getting into the spirit of the pic, cecil!

and now i'm off to bed. i've said that i was almost an hour ago already....

Hey Pal...I love the look of intensity on Zora's face as if she really wants to get the words right.

Great picture, it has an ancient quality.

BTW, Zora has that wild hair too (fairy moss?) just like her mama. :D
Freedom's just another word...

the whole thing looks like an ephermeral vision just before it gets immortalized in bronze.

if hair is the antenna linking human physicality to outer galaxy, then bring on the fairy moss (great metaphor, soozen)

jim, westcoast - thanks you two!

arcadia - ha! you could've noticed by the neat smooth hands she has...
ancient sepia concentration - yep! that's it.

smilegrl, thanks so much for your kind words.

soozen, my friend, yes, she truly wanted to get them right (so much to tell to a friend from a city like this one).
love the wild fairy moss hair, btw!
hugs to you.

judih, you did it again... "if hair is the antenna linking human physicality to outer galaxy, then bring on the fairy moss" - i'm in love with this sentence!
thanks, hugs and kisses.
