some photos I've taken since last we spoke

Post by bennie2 » May 30th, 2007, 3:04 pm

i click a shutter button more than I write these days...

so here are a few of my favourites since the last time I used to post on these boards:

this is me putting that overrated chunk of iron in its place:
Image

another one from paris. montmartre steps. this is one of my proudest moments as a "photogrpaher." I was filled with joy after taking this one:
Image

the clock on my living room wall:

they look better on photo than they do one me:
Image

alphabetic order? fuck that!
Image

a little ornament a friend got me ("cause I know you like jazz 'n' shit"):
Image

walnut street bridge in chattanooga:
Image

this was was taken during last year's edinburgh festival... all the street performances, all the people peddling their shows... and I settle my lens on a jakey lying in the park sun:

and here's a self portrait:

great photos bennie!!!
The frase "Luces de bohemia" came to my mind when I saw them. Then I realized it´s the title of a book that I read some time ago.

jimbo: that cat you drew looks like it's staring off at something you've forgotten to draw...

arcadia: haven't read that book, although it's a film too, which I haven't seen (I know this because I googled it)... thanks for looking at my photos. glad you liked them.

So glad to see Scotland is alive and well,
did I put something of meself into that cat?
twas a little sentient being amused with itself!
like your investigations into the extraordinary commonplace
healing touches and contemplative notes

Excellent photos. Gotta love those black and white and grayling undertones.

Chattanooga?

Reminds me of a joke I once heard

the punchline goes something like this...

Pardon me boss was that the cat that chewed your new shoes?
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse
