westcoast To be honest, the degree of details that my camera picks up sometimes surprises even me. I believe this was an abandoned paper mill (it was definitely a mill of some kind) by the Kalamazoo river.
Thanks, mtmynd. I still use film, so I'm never quite sure how my photos will turn out, but I thought the outcome was nice with these.
Dave The Dov One of the great things about Michigan is that we're never short on trees, water, and failed industry! This is in Parchment, right north of Kalamazoo, though it made me miss Detroit horribly.
Arcadia Thanks! Its funny, I was worried about jumping fences and possibly running into some homeless, but instead I had to fight against shrubs and trees, and ended up having the shit scared out of me by a owl!

what make/model of camera do you use. it's lovely
i'm wondering if film also makes a difference? i have no idea about such things. just a good eye.
