halva pressed between pages
sticky carnal cravings
sweet like nostalgia and dream
like flashbacks of carnations
as sepia-coloured almond taste repeats.
sunsets warm with ancient honey
carmesine over zorba-sighs and naked feet
glowing rhythmically on old twilight floor
as the wind of re-wind tousles hair and core
and strings sing in past incarnations.

panta...as kids, we used to buy "lucky packets", which was basically a paperbag filled with sweets and a surprise toy. i think opening your posts are equally exciting to open. you always bring a small treasure (or two). this is simply beautiful, the words & the picture.
