Andy Goldsworthy has a new sculpture/installation, this one at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

"... accept balance on the turbulent promenade."
Thanks. I wonder if this has anything to do with creating earthy sacred spaces?
I mean here it is posed as contemplative art, but in another situation, with stronger structural girding, it could be a clan center.
I also liked the floating "black hole" on the water. Reminds me of contemplative moments I've had looking at minute eddies and currents, watching leaves, twigs, water bugs, etc.
Wonder what impact it will have inside the Beltway....
Lets carry et on, lescaert!
Jimbo's ebbed.
