My browser is cutting off the right-hand part of these photos. Not sure why. So I added links as well.

They look fine on my browser. Great photos! Glad you had a good trip. I may go visit my cousin in Sante Fe. He invited me. We'll see. Haven't been out there for years.

You have a cousin in Santa Fe? Cool. My sister, the artist, is trying to get me to relocate there. It's a pretty big art town, and well, she just loves New Mexico ...
Glad you enjoyed the photos. It's funny-- I have two browsers, Explorer and Firefox, and they both chop these pictures. Strange ...

				Thanks, all.
Cec: Thanks. I hope to get down there again, this coming year.
Arcadia: Yes, the Malpais is a real place-- a vast lava flow. It's impassible for vehicles, and really, on horseback or on foot as well (although there's a "secret passageway" through it that only the local Indian tribes knew about until the start of last century).
saw: Thanks. I love the wide-open spaces for sure. I'll probably always be a Westerner.

There is a great Indigo Girls song called Southland in the Springtime that reminds me of your fascination with the west ( and WHY NOT )...so gorgeous, part of the chorus mentions their favorite season...adding when
"God made me born a Yankee, HE WAS TEASIN' "....sweet photos
