Whoa, real mountains - this is the closest we've got hereabouts:

Sasha, Mingus Mountain looks to be a bit higher than it actually is, only about 7500 feet - a foothill, compared to the fourteeners in Colorado.
Those structures are just TV and cell towers...

Well, Mt Monadnock (which you're looking at from the icy pond) is less than half that - 3166 ft above sea level, maybe 2000 above the surrounding terrain. Mt Washington up in the Whites - the highest peak east of the Mississippi, I believe - isn't quite 6300. So to an Easterner, 7500 is pretty impressive!
