Ah yes, the early '50s Chevy. My grandpa used to love working on his 1950s Chevys; he had 3 or 4 of them parked at his place for awhile, but he only drove the '57 "Nomad"...

Grandpa had to be one cool dude! Chevy Nomads were a special breed of 'wagons' as this link shows -

Happy Thanksgiving, amigo.

Thanks man!

Yeah, that was a cool car. Mom & Dad also had a '57 Chev - station wagon - for awhile. From the big tail fin era... Chevy scored a "hit" with its '57 design-- iconic. That was the only year in the '50s when they really went wild with the tail fin design; the years before and after were more subdued.

Chevy is SooZen's favorite cars, especially these newer models, the Camero and of course the 'Vette, both of which have really nice lines.

We've only had one Chevy, a Silverado p/u we had years ago when we only had Noah. But when Nate came along it was not good trying to go somewhere with four of us crammed in the cabin... :) Went for a 8-'s Chev Celebrity, a nice ride.
