The big tree

Post by wylde » January 12th, 2020, 7:51 am

we were on a road trip through the garden of eden route (south africa) and having past the sign a few times, saying BIG TREE, we turned into the forest and drove for a while & then walked to see:

Tsitsikamma.

Standing guard over the treetop canopy in the heart of the forest isThe Big Tree – an eight hundred- year-old Yellowwood. This majestic tree towers over the rest of the canopy; standing 36+m (119ft) tall and with a trunk circumference of 9m (30ft) – this is a giant among giants.

...a sense of context arrives, looking up.
fresher than looking in; out or heaven wards. somehow. almost feeling it breathe.
