one of my very favorite exercises.....zooming into streams to play with what is on the bottom....the light...and especially the movement...

I like doing the same with slow-moving water - those shimmering bands of light (what the physicists call "caustics") make for compelling abstract art...

caustics! That's what Stephen Futral calls his art technique! putting the pieces together.
