ah, the effortlessness of a youthful goal. lighthouse here, everest there, travelling alone in the Greek Islands, leaving everything to move to a new country. Would i do those things now? One never knows what awaits around the corner. Saying hello to an old lover is just as challenging. one never knows.

yeah judih, I left home at 17.....can't believe someone actually rented a house to a teenager...but I had a job, and guess that was enuff....and by 19 was living in Key West......did a lot of hitchhiking.......different times....different ages.....hard to see what I'll do now with health issues and deafness, but still enjoying life...much the same

the spirit finds new forms of expression. Your paintings show new brilliant forms of adventuring.

1972 - the year I graduated from UNH... Nixon-Agnew vs McGovern-Eagleton (oops, I mean -Shriver - so much for "100%")... living under my parents' roof, sending out resume after resume... even sent one to the CIA... never heard back from them, nor the Naval Observatory... all this while working 2nd shift as a forklift operator in a book bindery... Working 101, my graduate studies... still have the books I pilfered from there, some of which followed me to my eventual tech jobs... was it really 50 years ago????
