I'm aware of at least a half-dozen edible/medicinal varieties growing hereabouts, but only 2 well enough to actually put into my mouth - and one of them technically isn't even a mushroom, but a kind of fungus/lichen hybrid (rock tripe). Guessing wrong with wild berries is one thing, mushrooms quite another....

yeah man, gotta know what you are doing....there are some pretty good identification sites out there...but still makes me nervous
