Man, I'm suffering from deck envy. That's a nice deck. And the yard, well groomed. It appears that a lot of work went into it, definately a work of art.

This is not my back yard but it's close to it. Very close to it.

Actually I don't have to do a whole lot to the lawn. Just weed and seed it and mow it now and then. The porch was in need of a repainting so me and my dad took care of that last year. It look's better now. I don't have much of a view unlike your's SD. Now that's a view!!!! Any good fishing there perhaps????

Fishing? The fishing is to die for!
I grew up on the lower Chesapeake Bay where you would think fishing would be at it's best. It wasn't that great. Now that I live half way up the Chesapeake and her tributaries are nunerous and that is where fish spawn well to answer your question, fishing is great almost unbelievable. Now this is a fish story. I once caught a 2 1/2lb croaker that actually pulled my 21ft boat along until I got him aboard. At night the feeders (small fish) start popping the waters surface and it sounds like rain drops hitting the water. It's wierd hearing rain drops hitting the water and looking up at a clear sky.

Now this is the fishing spot. A small creek flows into The North River and it's mouth is narrow. All fish coming in and out of the creek have to swin through the narrow inlet. Almost like shooting fish in a barrel.

Lone piling

dressed with block and tackle

adorned with mooring lines

patiently waiting for

lazy duck to finish the boat

that the lone piling longs to moor

Dave dig that deck, all purty with rose paint and flowers, all too cool, kind of respectable for a beat person, but hey, respectability is cool, man, and duck mon, I dig the tree stump, its roots speak of organic magic, deep sooty truth, old times will be upon us, YAH!
