Some of those photos reminds me of Edward Weston. He would go out after a storm had taken place and photograph what he had found on the beach where he lived in California. I like that one of you walking towards those rays of sunlight. Heavenly!!!!

more to save for banners.... these are exquisite!

You should be working as a professional photographer.

Seriously.

also, have you ever been here?

http://morguefile.com

You can start an account for free, upload your images, and give them to professional designers and such to use on commercial products. You won't get paid but you can request that if your photos are used, your name is credited and ask that you get notified when your photos are used. I use the site a lot in my work.

thanks arcadia, finding the actual bird like that took me by surprise too. it wasn't easy to stand over, looking at it. but in a photograph, i can look at death. i can study it.

it's not the photos, but the world which is exquisite. the photos just show it when you look at it that way.

I have a photo of a fox laying in the road. it is rare to even catch a glimps of a fox. It was a shame to see the beautiful animal a victim of road kill. It seems that the motorist in my area have declared open season on anything crossing the road. I want to post the photo but it is a bit upsetting.

Oh, your photos are great. I wish I had rock to work with.

You should enter that one of your friend walking towards the ocean in a exhibit and call it "Venus Returns To The Sea".

Nova Scotia is certainly heavenly. Kari, you capture that island perfectly. I think I'd like to change my profile picture with that one photo you took with my green hat on. Can you email me that one?

As for the dead bird, it's my second favorite. My favorite is the 26th down. I love that one.

well yabyum
i have to say that after seeing you with that finger after awhile it becomes less threatening, just the same, it seems to be directed at the reader and not at the powermongers, but anyhow i wonder if a more humane incarnation of you is emerging, thatis, somebody who has guts, a real center, decently p.o'd at injustice and bourgeois sentimentality, ect., and yet exudes a warmth as well.

afterall yabyum is all about tantric energy.

but it is ok, just that the finger blocks out your face.
