We met at this secret hideout where Sober Duck conducts all his underworld business.
Image

He brought his lovely lady, Mrs. D. Duck.

"I've got them on film now, Ducky," Mrs. D. stated. "We'll save these photos for the FBI!"

Hip. Hip. Hip. The gentlemen posed, discretely.

"No! I will not drink that vile green potion!," Mr. Duck stated demonstratively!
Image

"But I will force YOU to drink it! Mwahahahahaha," he asserted!

hehe ;) :D :)

We had a great time meeting Sober Duck and his lady today! I wish we all had a longer time together! But the time we did have together was very special!

Dick (Duck) shared a couple of impressive newspaper articles with us which he wrote including photographs which he took ..... and a few 8x10 color photos of ships of the Tidewater region of Virginia..... very lovely!

We had a bit of a delay because it was raining (a good day for Ducks ;) ) and my driver's side windshield wiper decided it didn't want to cooperate and started to literally fly away at one point .... we had to stop 2 times to attempt to fix it, then got caught in backed up traffic on the highway because of an accident...... but eventually .... we got there and WE MET! And it was awesome! Plus, Duck kindly helped repair my windshield wiper arm connection (or whatever it's called!)... and we made it home safely!

To Sober & Mrs. D. Duck - It was GREAT to meet you! Thank you so much for sharing your afternoon with us! We hope to see you another time soon!

a day with the ducks. Sober ducks drink non-alcoholic green potions, i presume. Very large non-alcoholic green potions - you could bathe in that thing.

great shots. Does look like a fun event. Glad that mr. Duck was handy with a windshield wiper, and Mrs. Duck ready with a camera.

Gotta say, though, that it was great to see a new banner, and a sober banner at that. Welcome home, C and D.

Sober Duck drank coffee.

We both indulged in those huge margueritas (sp?), though it was a little tough to convey "straight up" to the mexican waiter who apparently didn't understand that that meant no ice. *sigh*

I must learn to speak Spanish one day.....

Good to *see* you again, mnaz and judih...

I wish you both lived closer....!!

Early news.... We're starting to plan another Cabaradio show for next summer.... In July 2006... at the TV station in Arlington.... as part of the Capital Fringe Festival.... Hope you both can come and participate and I hope Sober & Mrs. Duck can make it, too! ;)

Hey did you toot some pot? Duckmeister smokes the herb, on occasion.

"No ice" in Spanish is "No hielo, por favor. No hielo en las margueritas."

So you already know several of these words: no, por favor, en las margueritas. You know these words. The connecting link, "hielo=ice" man, pronounced, a silent "h", like, "ee-aay-lo"

No ee-ay-lo, por favor.

Can you dig it?

i'd be wearing shorts with suspenders
viva!
