Interesting you know that someone could find meaning in a piece of driftwood and the earth upon which it lays. I'd say that is a good thing.

More... desert driftwood, which I happened on, in the Beaver Dam Mountains, on the Nevada/Utah border.
Cannot match the razor-sharp closeups, tho......

Were you hiking when you took this one? I would be in absolute reverie.

well, sort of.... I hiked out to it from the trail, which I drove. The trail is called the Joshua Tree backway, and it starts 15 or 20 miles west of St. George, Utah, passes thru the Beaver Dam Mtns, and down the other side until it hits the old highway to Littlefield, Ariz.
Cool path...
