Love the last photo.
Being an east-coaster I hope one day I will be able to experience a west coast sunset over the ocean. I've seen the sunrise over the ocean many times but here I will never see it set over an ocean.
I once saw the sun through the oceans water before it crested the horizon. It was a once in a life time experience and have never seen it again.
Do you get any northern lights where you are?

Gorgeous!
I crown you Banner King!
Damn I wish I had time to make banners out of all your gorgeous photos.... I've made a few but I want to make more.
These are awesome...
One thing I've been remiss about telling you...
I'm jealous as hell.
I wish I could travel like you do .... I love to travel.
I hate jealousy and I hate hatred, too, but I just wanted to let you know that I am envious as hell.
Your photography is beautiful and your travelogues (did I spell that right?) are wonderful.
Thank you for being part of this community and sharing your work and adventures.

Thanks, all....
Some shutterbugs consider sunsets a bit "cliche".... but I treat them as "classics"..... Some of them really explode. It's all in the angle and constitution of the clouds....
Arcadia.... glad you enjoyed!
Sober Duck.... Up here in Seattle, (latitude 47), they tell me that northern lights are slightly visible in certain conditions, not too far north of here. I've never seen them, however. We're into a second straight week of a solid gray wall of rain.... may be awhile before I see the sky, period.
K&D.... love those New Mexico sunsets, but I didn't manage to capture a great one on film in my time there....
Doreen.... thank you for your kind words. My photos are your photos.... whatever grabs ya! Yeah. I admit that I'm a lucky man.... I've traveled a long, quiet road in the last few years, and hopefully, the journey isn't completely done. I have literally hundreds of photos from hundreds of back roads. I'll post a few of them every so often, access permitting....
Thanks, Z, and Cecil.... appreciate.
And mousey, you're on fire! (thanks)...

I can feel and smell the oceans salty cool breezes which pick up right at sunset. The drop in tempreture as darkness relieves the eyes is calming and reasuring. Altitude adds to gravity magnifyinng all the senses. What a sunset.
