A group called the Narodo! International Dancers they represent the ethnic heritage of Bulgaria





The Handphibians who play a style of music that comes from Brazil
The one who is second from the right in the first picture is my brother and the second picture is the leader of the group. His name is Robert. He started the group a few years back after he had visited Brazil and became greatly influenced by that country's music. I know him on a personal level he was in my high school class.

Great pictures look like you are having a good time. I been to Madison so many times, never have seen the good side of a city. But I know it has one. David Feldman does his show from Madison. Love that guy he is like a reincarnation of Groucho Marx.

On random note
Strange story about the movie The Texas Chain Saw Massacreit is based on a true story that happened in Wisconsin. But they had to change it to Texas cause Wisconsin was not considered crazy enough I guess. Thanks for the pictures Dave.

i lived with some bulgarians for awhile.
after the iron curtain fell, about 25% of bulgarians split.
before that, they could only go to moscow
and the black sea.
not even to greece across the mountains to the south.
so man they had a diaspora of bulgarians.
one guy had been a naval architect
he worked as a laborer at the tampa shipyard
then got depressed by the vulgarity there
so he became a security guard at the st pete museum of art
wife was a pharmacist
she became a light industrial factory worker
hydro geologist did odd labor then split to seattle to work in a factory
cable guy in bulgaria split for nyc to drive a cab
and they had lonliness

next time we are up there in february
