It's not enough to want to end the war, you have to put your weapons down...although, it would appear you need to get them higher in your case.

Just what are sending out on those waves, anyway?

Well, that is, a CB antenna.
But? Is it for real?
Yes, it's a real antenna but the photo is a rouse.
That antenna is a base station antenna that would usually be mounted thirty or forty feet up in the air and itself is eighteen feet high.
I made this photo for the enjoyment of local CBers who constantly brag and boost about having the biggest radio and the highest antenna.
Normally I have a standard antenna on top of that truck.
However, if I thought for one minute I could get away with driving around with that antenna I would hook it right up.

You need ta getcha one of them high teck red neck "foot warmers"

as heard on a truck stop near Abilene TX, "Stop preaching that hate and discontent or I will burn a whole in your radio with my foot warmer.."

This is a more sane version of a CB antenna. It's almost hard to see.

Now before you dismiss me as sane for not running around town with a base station antenna on my truck, I do have a base station in my truck.
