this reminds me of some seafarerer's chapel
steel beams
stained glass
emanating light
will surely inspire even the lowest
seafarering scum
to rise and walk
once again
amen
it gestures a blessing
yakes ya wanna shout
halleluja! to the still small voice
within
the still small voice of a child
with the bombs falling
with the water well dry
with the rich man bloating
the still small voice of a child
bearing the gift of forgiveness
how else could anyone carry on?
