yeh jimbo.... spring of '05.... the desert Southwest was inundated by rain, just as I arrived to escape such murk...

It rained heavily for 3 straight days when I visited Cecil & Soozen's place. They were thrilled at the murk... told me to "not begrudge them the rain"... ah yes... seems like only yesterday...

I spent nearly all of '05 and 2 months of '06 in the desert... I thought I'd had my fill, but I'm ready to go back...

Iam having flashbacks of my down and out years,
mercy could I drive those roads
down thru New mexico into ElPaso and out into the west Texas open spaces, straight thru to Corpus Christi and the lovely flowering coastal plain.
