Nevada's sparse outer reaches satisfy my escapist tendencies better than any other Southwestern state... It's quiet out there... the planet's most elemental form...

You're right Cec... I never "saw" that...

The effect was caused by dust blowing thru the basin from nearby Kelso Dunes...

Confession: Some of these scenes are actually just across the California state line... not surprising, since many of those Nevada roads stray that way, you know, with the state sharpening to a point at its southern tip....

As far as my "best seller".... well, it is a story shared among friends; a heartfelt memoir more than anything else. If it "connects", so be it. And vice versa... I keep adding pieces to it, slowly...
