William S Burroughs did something like that. Those are really good!!!! I love the vibrance in them!!!!

Interesting area you've ventured into. It really looks like a fun thing to do using pages from books like that. Very cool, mindbum. Any more..?

dtd-- i'd say burroughs is a very important influence on my work in genral. i've not really thought of his work visually relative to my own visual work. i'll have to look around for some wsb art & think about all that jazz.

mtm- it is great great fun. and sometimes long hard hours. though these pieces represent hours on the lighter side.

i found the encyclopedia britannica volumes these pages come from in the recycling on the street in soho. the books date ca. 1880. i use acrylic inks for color.

over a hundred more easily. i've lost anything resembling count. there are even boxes covered in britannica pages.
