I must say, I really enjoy your pieces. I've always looked at the combination of the WORD and the image as the ultimate esthetic (hence my obsession with oriental languages) your pieces are truly wonderful.

thanks much shem. i've long been into any combination of word and image. comic books & strips even. but a deeper mixture textures meaning & focus. & calligraphy. or painting words with octopus ink. mmmm.

thanks again shem.

thanks smilegrl. i appreciate inspiring anything. and if it's creative curiosity, i meant it.

as far as randomness and thought-outtity i'd say it's a fair dose of both. i esteem aspects of spontaneity as well as a complete time to mull something over.

thanks again.

jimbo.

atop a steep pole rests a small figure carved of dark wood. the pole stands at a node on the complex spiral cortex of enrgy and thought that blankets the earth. ley lines or a way to get there.

a douser's wand or a late day solar alignment offer scraps of evidence.

thanks.

more soon maybe.

jimbo-

took me a long time to figure out what 'ompacy' meant. i mulled it over.

finally... ah! a typo. impact!

maybe it's because the figures, characters are black & white and evrything else is so colorful?

that's my guess. gotta have some juxta in yr position. a little contrast or it all spills together and ye've just got soup.
