I thought the FCC was on it's way out. Recently they closed up the local FCC office in our area. I believe they quit persuing the little fish (CBers, ham, short wave) and still watch the big broadcasters.
Back in my radio days I use to run 600 watts through my 4 watt CB and ocassionally the FCC would send out the black sedan in hopes of cathing me keying my mike.
