We are 200 miles to the east of the eye, located on a peninsula on the gulf halfway up Florita. Cuba is sticking out at the bottom and Jamaica is at bottom center, Yucatan to the left. this site has reconstructed real imagery, the best. Mississippi river delta above the eye, which is northwest, the orientation of the shot.

Nice heavy rains this morning, we'll still go to the ballgame as it is inside the big tent they used to call the Thunder Dome, now commercialised into the Trop or Tropicana (orange juice) field.

Palm tree fronds from above all over the driveway. We put up all the outside stuff in the shed.

Thank goodness for Cuba, it zigzagged to the west crossing over.

if dennis is like my friend denis, he is a kind person... but I´m afraid analogies may don´t work here...
I´m storm-fobic, what can I say..., try to not draw in the middle of the road for some hours...
saludos,

Arcadia
