Hi Jimbo , thanks, the material behind those pieces is actually a product called Tyvek, and is used to wrap the exterior of a new house as a wind and moisture barrier. It was a good show held in a gallery that is in an old distillery that is now a tourist area full of galleries and shops.

Excellent! Beautiful! Thank you for the display, Kurt! REally nice gallery space. Love your work!

Just wondering.... are some painted on paper? If so, what type of paper do you use?

I'd like to know the same thing as Arcadia. Do you miss them after they're sold?

I have met a couple of artists who have said they don't sell their work because it's like a part of them and they can't part with it.

Do you ever make prints from your work and keep a framed print, but sell the original? I think that would be a great idea.

Hey DP, the paintings on the gray material are on 300lb colp pressed water colour paper, and do i miss them? Not really, the process of doing them forms an attachment, but finishing them is letting go. There is also always the excitement of the next piece to fill the void. I don't really harbour any sentimrntality over them.

Hey those Iranians! I know a guy who was in the Iranian Army during the war with Iraq. He eventually went to Toronto, stayed there a few years, studied Hapkido. He came to St. Pete a few years ago, has a dojo, teaches kids and also yoga to the old folks at fitness centers, etc. His name is Shahram.
