looking down at the eye, Belize is along the western edge, left, running north into Yucatan, Mexico, and the neat corner of the landmass jutting out due south of the eye is the border between Honduras to the west and Nicaragua to the south, the border runs in a southwest line, man, and the western half of Jamaica sticks out from the right side of the photo, orientation is due north, click the photo for a large view.

Yes so soft and fluffy. a nice little swirl here, that little band of clouds to the north of the swirlstretches easily from Yucatan across to Florita, where it hits the gulf side west coast of Florita is where I is at. Depending on the final track I will either be at my step-daughter's wedding or in hospital on emergency duty. We are spinning it southward thanks to the cold front from up north.

are you OK, jimbo?

I had a neighbor called Willma for twenty years. She had the peculiarity of subir to her terraza each time someone of my family went to our patio. She also has a funny way to talk to her dogs. So, my first reaction always was: "hello Willma!! (damn, your again in the terraza...)" and then I couldn´t avoid to listen (the dogs were in the terraza) and to try to hide my laughter.

I didn´t see news about Willma in the TV today. I only watched nearly one and half hour of the History Channel (godos against romans) while I played with my sobrino with little animals.

take care,

Arcadia

the wind is coming tonight, maybe 50 miles an hour, I will have to get up early to cross Tampa Bay on a ten mile bridge to get to work.

Your nephew likes little animalitos, bueno!

Oh glad you remembered Wilma!

as you can see the diameter of the storm is huge, will be 100 miles north of the eye, yet expect strong winds, we will see.
will be up at 5 AM. expect the winds to be active so my drive should be interesting.

you can see yucatan, cuba, floritaall touched by the vast circulation of this storm. say hello to Wilma un tiempo mas!

one more for the road

they wanted me to come in early and stay overnight at hospital, but i smoked two joints and drank three beers plus a shot of Jagermeister in a Monster drink, man, my step daughter got married today. Hell I'd rather drive thru a storm than go into work early, man.

Willlllma is not my neighbor now, I see her sometimes when I go to my father´s house. She takes care every day of her four grand sons and daughters now.

enjoy the ride & take care,

Arcadia
