i had a late admission today
german lady her hubbie retired army
he said, "I ain;t been right since I got out!"
i says, "i was in for 3 years and 29 days and i ain't been right since I got out either.!."

it's what Tarthang Tulku calls "skillful means"

my old friend bob mclane, VVAW, VFP, anti=war ex marine said,
"i can talk with anyone."

me too, bob, wherever ya are.

bob started out with one bumper sticker in the late 80's
it said

REAGAN KNEW!

he sold 18,000 by 1987,at one dollah a pop, the year after i left shreveport,
he traded in his pinto mini wagon for a vw camper
hitting the kerrville music festival, neworleans jazzfest,
followed the dead, he sold a bunch of them to some catholic nuns

i called him from arizona, then lost contact until the miracle of the world wide web.

here are a few of his current creative endeavors,
you never heard of a vertical bumper sticker, did ya?

was recently seen at madison square garden
When I arrive at Madison Square Garden's entrance Monday night for the Bruce Springsteen concert, the only hint of protest in the air comes from a man wearing a rainbow-knit beret and selling bumper stickers that read, "George Bush Couldn't Run a Laundromat." http://www.slate.com/id/84280

You have to appreciate that Bob has to deal with a certain amount of pathos. Here he is at the Vets for Peace national convention held last summer in Boston, hawking his wares. He is holding his other bumber sticker,,,,,

GEORGE BUSH COULDN'T
RUN A LAUNDROMAT
